Calatrava Skyscraper to Dominate Chicago Skyline

A bold attempt to build what would be the country's tallest building has brought the genius of Santiago Calatrava, sculptor, engineer, and architect, to Chicago. Developer Christopher T. Carley of the Fordham Company released plans for the 2,000 ft. tall Fordham Spire in late July, but his company now faces a zoning battle.
